Description

As soon as Mya Sincere Jenkins discovers how to live with one misfortune, life hits her with another unexpected trial. The meek, beautiful, responsible, and loving young lady was gladly raised to put her trust in God and seek His face for more than His hand! But as the young, rare diamond loses her way in pursuit of love, she’s faced with a devastating truth. Despite everything she has been through and overcome, for the first time in her life it seems that God has abandoned her. Mya’s life is spiraling out of control, and every decision she makes carries some heavy consequences. Often she wonders if this is really happening to her, or if she is dreaming, and in some cases having a nightmare? Will Mya recognize and heed God strategically intervening in her life for the sake of her purpose and family, or will her commitment to love her fiancé be her ultimate downfall?

When being in love can take you to dangerous places.

Author

Falicia Blakely is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, but relocated to Atlanta, Georgia, where she experienced a rough upbringing as a child. This resulted in her committing various crimes as a teen and her inevitable imprisonment.

Since 2005, she has been an active member of The Children’s Center, an organization which allows her to visit and interact regularly with her only child while she is imprisoned. As a victim of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking, Falicia has dedicated her life to raising awareness about these social ills by writing books, skits (plays), and performing interpretive dances.

Currently, Falicia is incarcerated in a North Georgia maximum security women’s facility, serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole.
